“Mad Dog” Garrett Hicks is a perfect example of blazing your own trail. With a sound rooted in country music yet spiked with a bit of punk, this South-East Texas born singer/songwriter continues to disrupt the normality of country music. Starting his career, oddly enough, in Augusta, Georgia while serving a 6-year enlistment in the United States Navy, his music took off and reached heights no one could’ve imagined in just one year. From his top song Mad Dog reaching over 10,000 net streams, and opening for a 3-time nominated country icon in-front of 15,000 people, Garrett has no intentions of slowing down in the years to come. Now is just the beginning and the future is looking brighter and brighter by the day for this ambitious young man.
